Overview of Role:
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new restaurant opening in 2025 from renowned NYC hospitality group, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead its launch and long-term success. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a start-up environment, guiding the different departments and service.
This 100+ seat restaurant will feature an expansive bar program and private event space, bringing a fresh and innovative dining experience. The ideal candidate will be able to delegate effectively and lead a large team of managers, ensuring smooth operations and a cohesive leadership structure
Key Responsibilities:
Hiring & Staffing
- Build and lead a talented team in preparation for the Summer 2025 launch
- Develop career pathways for internal growth and identify seasoned professionals for leadership roles
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency and a positive work-life balance
- Cultivate relationships within the hospitality industry to attract top-tier talent
Training & Development
- Design and execute a robust training program for both management and hourly staff
- Foster a culture of mentorship, encouraging innovation and leadership within the team
- Continuously refine training programs to align with company offerings and values
Financial Performance
- Leverage the bar program and private event space to maximize revenue opportunities
- Collaborate on reservation management to optimize guest experience and revenue potential

Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in hospitality management, with a strong preference for restaurant opening experience
- Operational Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex operations, including bar programs and private events
- Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Team Development: Strong background in hiring, training, and mentoring high-performance teams
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Problem Solving: Ability to develop creative and practical solutions to operational challenges
- Guest Experience: Passionate about delivering top-tier hospitality and service

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($110,000.00 - $120,000.00)
