Job Details
Danny and Coop's is a new high profile cheesesteak shop located in the East Village.  The brand focuses on creating one product, the best cheesesteak in New York City.  After a successful high profile launch the brand is looking to build it's team and take on a leader that can maintain Danny and Coop's high level of success.


What You’ll Do:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
• Lead, train, and develop the team—fostering a culture of teamwork and precision.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs with a sharp eye for efficiency.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute a buzz-worthy menu.
• Problem-solve in real time—because we know restaurant life is full of surprises.

What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of kitchen management, head chef or lead line cook experience in a fast-casual or high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership skills—you know how to motivate and mentor a team.
• Deep knowledge of kitchen operations, from prep to execution to closing.
• Passion for food and attention to detail—every dish is a moment for guests.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and keep the energy up.
• Experience managing food and labor costs is a big plus.


Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $80,000.00)
