We are seeking a Captain/Lead Server to become an integral part of our team!

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and support staff adherence to all service standards.
• Supervise service of guests.
• Assist manager to ensure service standards and protocols are met by staff at all times. 
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up.
• Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
• Assist restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and tastings, pre-shift direction.
• Communicate both verbally and in writing through 7-shifts, to provide clear direction to staff.
• Some captain and server scheduling responsibilities. 
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of experience in an upscale, fine dining restaurant providing high-quality service.

• Great communication skills and ability to create positive personal interactions.
• A genuine eagerness to provide exceptional hospitality to all guests.
• Ability to verbalize the food and beverage menu exhibiting thorough product knowledge. 
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. 
• Prior experience using a Toast POS system and cash handling.
• Fine knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and cocktails. 
• Organized, professional demeanor, and able to direct a small team of servers. 
• Constant learner, coachable and willing to grow. 
• A strong desire to be a part of a dynamic team.
