Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing Part Time Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a host/hostess, you will be responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and ensuring excellent customer service from the moment they enter the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests, ensuring efficient seating arrangements.
• Provide guests with wait time estimates and update them as needed.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Assist with answering phone calls and handling inquiries or takeout orders.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the waiting area and host stand.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Assist in handling guest concerns or complaints, escalating them to management when necessary.
• Uphold restaurant policies and service standards to enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in customer service preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong hospitality skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
• Familiar with restaurant system, such as Resy and Toast is a plus

Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift small items.
