Job Details
We’re excited to welcome a new Sommelier to our team at Le Coucou—a restaurant collaboration between acclaimed Chef Daniel Rose and our very own visionary leader Stephen Starr, built on passion, precision, and the belief that hospitality is both an art and a craft.
This position acts as an extension of our Wine Director, aiding in staff education, as well as being an intricate member of the service team in providing an unparalleled dining experience for our guests.
Since its debut, Le Coucou has become one of New York City's most iconic dining destinations, honored with the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant and earning Michelin Stars every year since 2019. These accolades reflect not only a consistent standard of excellence but a deep commitment to thoughtful hospitality and refined culinary artistry.
Offering a gracious, modern nod to fine European gastronomy, surrounded by elegant whitewashed brick walls, flickering candlelight, and crisp linens, the ambiance provides a fitting canvas for Chef Rose’s vivid and charming reinterpretation of classical French cuisine. His cooking elegantly shrinks the intercontinental divide between Paris and New York, reaffirming that the soul of French fine dining can flourish in any time zone.
