Temple Court in the Beekman Hotel is looking for its next AM Food Runner to join their growing team! Please note this is as early as a  6:30am start, which includes weekends. 

Responsibilities:

• Making sure all food quality standards are met
• Expediting service for busy kitchen Team
• Making sure all plates leaving kitchen are up to Crafted Hospitality Standards
• Finishing dishes with garnishment while adhering to Health Department guidelines
• Running food to correct tables and positions as indicated by Manager, Server and/or Bartender
• Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
• Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn
• Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
• Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus
• Participating in service/culinary education sessions
• Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of serving experience in a fine dining restaurant
• Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
• Early morning availability; ability to work breakfast and lunch shifts
• Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
