Assistant General Manager

Affiliated with STARR Restaurants, Pastis DC has found its home in Washington, DC's vibrant Union Market District! With a nod to its New York City roots, this brasserie features a classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor.

If you are a charismatic, hospitality forward, business savvy,  Assistant General Manager who leads by example and has a passion for delicious, flavorful food executed and served with care and consistency – the team wants to hear from you!

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

• A competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 - $75,000

The desired candidate will have:

• 3-5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience in a well-rated restaurant
• Prior experience opening a new restaurant is a plus!
• Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse team of salaried managers and hourly staff
• Strong financial acumen with the proven ability to oversee cost control, labor, management, and bottom-line profitability
• A positive and self-motivated disposition with a commitment to excellence and team success
• A love for French cuisine & culture!
