Job Details

Vinegar Hill House - a small, independent, and established restaurant on the Brooklyn waterfront - is seeking a Floor Manager.

Our principles are simple: deliver thoughtfully executed farm-to-table food with curated natural wine and cocktails by an educated staff in a comfortable environment.

We are looking for someone who is ready to lead, educate, and inform our small and eager team, and liaison heavily with our BOH to accomplish service goals and maintain our standards. The candidate must have substantial wine knowledge and service experience.

The ideal candidate is available to work at least three floor shifts a week and have weekday and weekend availability, serve as manager alongside the General Manager and in the General Manager's stead, establish service standards, cultivate wine knowledge, as well as other necessary duties. The Floor Manager reports to the General Manager, and will frequently work alongside the Executive Chef and the Director of Sales.
