ABOUT SAGA
SAGA is a fine dining restaurant perched on the 63rd floor of 70 Pine Street, a landmark Art Deco tower in New York’s Financial District.
Opened in 2021 by Chef Jamal James Kent, the restaurant was awarded two stars from the Michelin Guide after a year of operation–a designation it has maintained each subsequent year. Critically acclaimed for its unique take on fine dining, Chef Kent’s vision of Saga pushed beyond the status quo, executing a menu that was worldly and approachable. That ethos of pushing the boundaries is spearheaded today by Chef Charlie Mitchell, who was appointed Executive Chef of Saga in July of 2024.
At SAGA, we serve tasting menus that highlight the best produce we can source from the Hudson Valley, with ideas and inspirations from our mentors, food memories from our childhoods, and the enormous breadth of cuisine we eat in New York City.
Our wine list showcases regions from the old and new world, encompassing traditional and modern styles of winemaking, with a focus on artisanal growers.
One floor above SAGA is Overstory, a cocktail bar with a wraparound terrace. In addition to cocktails, beer and wine, Overstory now offers a selection of bar snacks and composed dishes. For a complete menu, visit overstory-nyc.com.
