Clark’s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, is opening its newest location in Menlo Park, California, in April 2025. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we’re excited to bring the Clark’s experience to this vibrant community. With a nod to the 1950s, our design blends oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With ~100 seats, including a private dining room, we aim to be a neighborhood staple, where locals and visitors alike come to enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.

Job Summary:
As a Busser, you will have the responsibility of serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages, and cleaning tables. Ultimately, you will ensure daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Decorate tables per restaurant standards
- Remove any dirty plates or utensils from tables and replenish, as needed
- Complete all side work as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Previous busser or food runner experience is a plus
- Current California Food Handler’s and RBS certification required.
- Excellent customer service and people skills required
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.
- Prior experience with POS systems

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Frequent lifting and carrying of trays, dishes, and glassware, with loads up to 35 pounds.
- Regular bending, stooping, and reaching to clear and reset tables, and to carry items to and from the kitchen.
- Manual dexterity required for handling small items like utensils and glassware.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often around crowded areas.
- Work may involve exposure to varying noise levels and temperature changes.
