Clark’s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, is opening its newest location in Menlo Park, California, in April 2025. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we’re excited to bring the Clark’s experience to this vibrant community. With a nod to the 1950s, our design blends oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With ~100 seats, including a private dining room, we aim to be a neighborhood staple, where locals and visitors alike come to enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.

Job Summary:
As a Server, you'll command a busy floor, guiding guests through the dining experience. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service.
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions, and making suggestions.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services.
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests.
- Complete all side work as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- At least 1 year of server experience.
- Current California Food Handler’s and RBS certification required.
- Excellent customer service and people skills required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good working knowledge of beverages and a willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.
- Prior experience with POS systems

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to serve guests and perform side work.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently between dining and kitchen areas.
- Manual dexterity required for handling small items (e.g., glassware, silverware) and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced, indoor and outdoor environment that may include exposure to varying levels of noise and temperature changes.
