Compline Restaurant is rolling out its first-ever cocktails and spirits program!

Under the leadership of Beverage Manager Jeff Otterson, our Lead Bartender will captain our newly redesigned bar, producing cocktails and pouring spirits for our bar, restaurant, and lounge spaces. Our cocktail program focuses on "modern classic"—spins on the classics that leave patrons asking for a second. Our bar offers a concise list of spirits in all categories, with special attention to European spirits like Cognac, Armagnac, and Calvados; and Japanese Whisky. 

For this role, we are hiring an experienced, seasoned bartender eager to pilot the newest entry in downtown Napa's growing cocktail scene. Take command of a 10-seat bar, forge connections with our guests, and help develop new cocktails and a new side of Compline Restaurant. In 2024, our wine list was named the "Best in North America" by World of Fine Wines. We're looking for a bartender who aspires to craft cocktails and select spirits with a similar eye for distinction!

This is a full-time, evening position with some closing duties. Bar shifts typically run from 4pm-midnight.
