Housed in an old autobody shop, we’ve been serving up incredible meals, craft cocktails, and a lively atmosphere for 11 years. As a multi-functional venue with a butcher shop, restaurant, and music venue all in one, we’re known for our high-energy, fast-paced environment. With concerts and events most nights, we’re looking for bartenders who thrive under pressure, love connecting with guests, and have a passion for craft beer, spirits, and creating memorable experiences.

Position Overview:

As a Bartender at Chop Shop, you’ll be the face of our bar during concert nights and events, providing exceptional service to guests in a high-energy, fast-paced setting. You’ll need to bring your A-game, whether you're crafting cocktails, pouring beers, or engaging with customers, all while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to keep the drinks flowing and the atmosphere electric during concerts and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to guests by maintaining a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring all patrons feel welcome and valued.
• Drink Preparation: Mix and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and spirits with accuracy and speed, ensuring top-notch quality in every drink.
• Event Support: Work with the team to set up for and serve during concerts and events, maintaining the high-energy atmosphere Chop Shop is known for.
• Knowledge of Beer & Spirits: Demonstrate a solid knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to guide guests with recommendations and ensure drinks are made to perfection.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Fast-Paced & Flexible: Be able to adapt to the rhythm of busy nights, multitask efficiently, and think on your feet to handle a high-volume crowd during concerts or events.

Qualifications:

• High-energy, outgoing personality with a strong ability to engage guests and create a positive experience.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train someone with a passion for the craft and a love for hospitality.
• Knowledge of beer, spirits, and cocktail preparation is essential.
• Ability to work under pressure, stay calm during busy nights, and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be available for evening shifts, particularly on concert nights and weekends.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to pivot as needed in a fast-paced environment.
