Job Details

Mordecai is an award-winning bi-level cocktail bar and restaurant located in the heart of Wrigleyville. Created by Chef Matthias Merges of Folkart Restaurant Management and nationally acclaimed cocktail bar Billy Sunday, the space offers an exceptional cocktail experience. Mordecai's back bar features one of the country's largest selections of rare and collectible vintage spirits.

Mordecai is currently hiring hosts ($16.50/hour) and food runners (hourly + tips). Prospective candidates need a strong focus on hospitality, teamwork, and be able to perform well in high-volume settings. All host positions will be cross trained as runners.Must have daytime and nighttime availability. Must have availability over holidays and Cubs home stands. This is a seasonal position with the potential for growth.

Our service style is warm, approachable, and educational, fueled by a passion to share and create. Looking for service-oriented individuals with a strong cocktail and spirits background and ability to do detailed work in a high-volume environment. Team-focused personalities coupled with humility and a desire to learn are valued.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50)
