We at Anomaly SF are seeking a new member of our growing team! We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie to contribute energy and creativity to our seasonally-updated tasting menu which we serve Tuesday-Saturday in Lower Pacific Heights in San Francisco.
YOU: like a cooperative team and an open kitchen, with guest interaction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to bring your precision and attention to detail to bear in a cooperative kitchen where everyone learns each others’ stations and works to support the team both during prep and on into service. We end 90%+ of our services knowing we really nailed it and we pride ourselves on making sure we enjoy what we do - because why else would we work so hard?
WE: pride ourselves on creating beautiful experiences for guests and pushing ourselves to excellence while practicing the less-pretentious hospitality of the South and making sure we enjoy every day working together as a team.
This is an hourly position with the potential to be involved in the tip pool; our chefs run dishes to guests to make sure they get as much in-depth knowledge of preparation and intention as they’d like, and we think it keeps us fresh in thinking about how we communicate what we do. We work to ensure work-life balance for all of our teammates and are an equitable, respectful kitchen where everyone’s contribution is respected and rewarded.
Prior experience is key in this role but can be from any number or different prior environments; fine dining to us is less the requirement and more the right skill set and attitude, so if this sounds like it might be fun and a good fit for you write in and let us know where you are coming from and why you’d like to be considered and we’ll take it from there. Looking forward to hearing from y’all!
