We are currently looking for a Pastry Cook to join Frenchette's culinary team. The ideal candidate displays an excitement for food and hospitality. As a critical member of the culinary team, a successful pastry cook will prioritize positivity, passion, and flexibility. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an energetic, seasoned and diverse team that is committed to creating an inclusive and dynamic workplace to learn, collaborate and grow. You will also have previous experience working in a collaborative and food forward environment.


What you can expect:

- Produce consistent, quality seasonal dishes in a fast-paced environment.

- Positive influence to the team and work well under pressure while also providing a welcoming work environment that increases staff morale.

- Support the Pastry Chef as Pastry needed.

- Support Executive Chef and as needed.

-Maintain a lean and orderly pastry kitchen while adhering to NY health and safety standards 




Ideal Candidate 

-Working knowledge and passion for classic French pastry techniques 

-Have experience or a desire to learn more about pastry, including plating, production, and  events.

-Prepare and execute key components of seasonal dishes while ensuring quality and accuracy

-Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. 

-Wanting to be apart of a small yet diverse pastry program 

-This position will work as needed.

-This is an AM/PM POSITION. 

- ability to manage time for both production and plating 

-must be able to work NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $22.00)
