Bar56 is a dynamic wine bar in the heart of DUMBO, offering a curated selection of authentic wines and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a Server Assistant to join our team and support our front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in delivering food and drinks to guests efficiently
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Support the team in ensuring seamless service flow
- Provide guests with a warm, attentive, and polished experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or a fast-paced restaurant setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have 2 years + experience in a fast paced NYC restaurant as a Server Assistant
• Must be able to lift & a carry at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing)
• Must be knowledgeable of Industry critics & awards
• Must have full schedule availability including lunches and Sundays
• Must be able to take constructive criticisms and work well in a team dynamic
