Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including managing food production, ensuring quality aligns with company standards, supervising food preparation and production, while prioritizing smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and portion size for individual menu items
- Meeting with Production Manager and current kitchen lead to assess daily and weekly production needs for dynamic menu that changes weekly
- Ensure adherence to all kitchen safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling practice
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience managing a kitchen team in a high-volume production setting
- Familiarity with purchasing
- Comfortable using email, slack, google sheets as needed
- ServSafe certified
Details
- Thursday - Monday schedule (Off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to start)
- Generally 7am - 3pm (but sometimes varies depending on work volume)
- In person, at our kitchen in Sunnyside, Queens
- $23/hour
