About Us: Opened in December 2024, Shy Shy is a cozy, Pacific Northwest-inspired bar located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. As the sister bar to Jungle Bird, we offer a refined cocktail menu designed to evoke the feeling of sipping a crisp martini at golden hour. Our ambiance is reminiscent of an intimate cocktail party at a coastal hideaway, providing guests with a unique and memorable experience. 

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and passionate bartenders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the art of cocktail making, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft Cocktails: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, including our signature martinis and innovative creations.
• Customer Engagement: Provide attentive and personalized service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with fellow staff members to ensure seamless service and operations.
• Uphold Standards: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Attitude: Positive demeanor with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
