Cocktail Kingdom Hospitality, the group behind award winning cocktail bars Mace, Katana Kitten, Superbueno, The Cabinet and Miracle on Ninth, is looking for a dynamic General Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and enthusiastic leader with a knowledge of high-volume while keeping cool at all times. This is a unique opportunity to join a lively and creative team.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Manage the day-today operations of the bar
- Oversight of monthly liquor inventory
- Attend all training sessions mandated by the Company, and enforce attendance of staff at mandated trainings
- Maintain of health and safety procedures
- Maintain the physical plant – research solutions for repairs and gain approval from the Director of Operations to execute repairs using approved vendors
- Day to day operations i.e. reconciling tip sheets, scheduling, reservations oversight
- Coordinate menu updates and replacements with the Cocktail Kingdom Art Department
- Establish of strong brand relationships with liquor vendors
- Be present on the floor during service to touch tables and troubleshoot when necessary
- Recruits, hires, trains, and develops a high-performing bar team
- Ensure exceptional guest service and oversees the overall bar experience.
Requirements:
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- High-end cocktail bar/restaurant experience in a similar role for 2-3 years.
- Understanding of sales goals and financials
- Knowledge of Toast and Resy
- Strong communication skills
- TIPs and NYC Health Department Certification
