Roman's, a neighborhood Italian restaurant in Fort Greene, seeks a Line Cook with restaurant experience.

We are a small team that works together to make the best possible product using local and seasonal ingredients. This is an ideal position for a motivated cook who wants to learn and grow with a supportive and engaged team and see all aspects of how a small restaurant runs. This is a nighttime position that requires open availability, including weekends.

- Have 2+ years of professional cooking experience with excellent production skills
- Bring detail and care to their worK
- Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and curious
- Be able to self-manage as well as be managed
- Be organized, friendly, and reliable
- An interest in working in various capacities towards meeting the goals of the team and the business.

While performing the duties of the job, a line cook is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
