Host - Annabelle Restaurant (Washington, DC)
Annabelle, one of Washington, DC’s premier fine dining restaurants, is seeking a warm, professional, and energetic Host to join our front-of-house team. Located in the heart of Dupont Circle, Annabelle is known for its refined yet inviting atmosphere, impeccable service, and seasonally inspired cuisine.
Position Overview
As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains grace under pressure, and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using Resy
- Maintain an organized waitlist and efficiently seat guests
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Ensure a seamless flow of service throughout the restaurant
- Provide guests with accurate wait times and assist with special requests
- Uphold the restaurant’s high standards of hospitality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant preferred
- Proficiency in reservation platforms such as OpenTable or Resy is a plus
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Professional demeanor and polished appearance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
