About Us: Provaré Chicago is a dynamic and growing restaurant offering exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding customer service, and continuous growth.

Job Overview: As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory, financials, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. You’ll play a key role in developing the restaurant’s culture, training the team, and maintaining a high standard of hospitality. You must be ready to roll up your sleeves and support staff with whatever they need, from managing front-of-house to helping with back-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and manage a team of staff
  • Ensure outstanding guest experiences through excellent service
  • Manage staff training, development, and performance
  • Control costs and oversee budgeting, scheduling, and inventory
  • Support and assist staff members with their needs, ensuring a cohesive and effective team
  • Lead by example, getting hands-on when necessary, and pitching in wherever needed
  • Implement and uphold restaurant policies and procedures
  • Handle customer concerns and feedback in a professional manner
  • Monitor and improve service quality, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and improve operational efficiency
  • Willingness to be hands-on and pitch in whenever necessary
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
