Ometeo is a fresh, fun and elevated take on TexMex cuisine brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the team behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's and winners of the 2024 DC Rammy award for restaurateurs of the year.

Inspired by the ingredients, techniques and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is rooted in Tex Mex tradition, heightened by our restaurant group's passion for seafood and local produce. Under the guidance of two award winning chefs- Long Shot Hospitality chef Kyle Bailey and Texas native and Top Chef winner Gabe Erales- we’re taking Tex Mex and breathing fresh air into it without compromising the warm comforting memories most people associate with sizzling platters and good times margaritas.

Server Job Details:

Our service teams work hard, take pride in what we do, treat our guests like friends, and have fun while doing it! We have a reputation at our restaurants for building very strong and loyal regular neighborhood followings and so we are actively looking for service professionals to join this team who will be focused on doing the same in our newest venue. Ideal candidates have both fine dining and high volume experience; are reliable, efficient and organized; are excellent TEAM players, and truly enjoy providing memorable guest experiences. Candidates bring a positive and professional approach to the position and possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and the restaurant business.

Desired Qualifications:

Ideally 1-2 years of relevant high volume/upscale dining server experience
Basic professional level of knowledge of food, beverage and wine service
Positive attitude and friendly disposition
Professional, punctual, reliable
Team oriented mindset - we are a pooled house
Minimum of three shifts of availability
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
