Job Details
Responsibilities
    • Prepare drinks: Mix ingredients like liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to make cocktails and other drinks 
       
    • Serve drinks: Serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks 
       
    • Maintain the bar: Keep the bar clean and organized, and arrange bottles and glasses attractively 
       
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations: Check photo IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age 
     
  • Refuse service to intoxicated patrons: Use proper judgment to refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive 
     
  • Order supplies: Submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies 
     
Other duties 
 
  • Prepare garnishes and other perishables
  • Prepare mixers and juices
  • Check bar inventory and restock any items if necessary
