Join Our Culinary Team at The Duck & The Peach & La Collina!

The Duck & The Peach and La Collina are looking for passionate and skilled cooks to join our team! We are hiring for:

PM Line Cook – The Duck & The Peach (Full-Time, 30-35 Hours/Week)

If you love working with high-quality ingredients and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen, this role is for you! As a PM Line Cook, you will work with our talented chef team, led by Executive Chef Katarina Petonito and Pastry Chef Rochelle Cooper, to craft seasonal, modern American dishes with integrity and finesse.

Schedule & Details:

  • Start time: between 2-3 PM 
  • Full-time position: 30-35 hours/week
  • Evening service, working the line in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and work efficiently during busy service.
  • A team player mindset—no egos, just great food and collaboration.
  • Passion for learning and growing within a dynamic kitchen.

Lunch Cook – La Collina’s Tigelle Window (Guest-Facing, 6-Day Week)

La Collina’s Tigelle Window is our 6-day-a-week lunch concept, where we serve our signature Italian-inspired Tigelle sandwiches. This is a guest-facing role, meaning you’ll not only cook but also engage with customers, bringing warmth and hospitality to the experience.

Schedule & Details:

  • Start time: 9:30-10 AM
  • Prep and cooking responsibilities before and during service.
  • Six-day work week with lunch service hours.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong cooking skills with a focus on efficiency and consistency.
  • Ability to work neatly and quickly in a small, open kitchen.
  • Friendly and approachable—this role interacts with guests!
  • Passion for great food and hospitality.
  • Experience with Italian cuisine is a plus, but not required.

Physical & Workplace Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours during a shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • This is an on-site role at The Duck & The Peach (PM Line Cook) and La Collina (Lunch Cook).
  • The closest Metro stop is Eastern Market.
