La Betty, sister-restaurant to A Baked Joint and Baked&Wired and located in the Mount Vernon Triangle of Washington, D.C., is now seeking experienced, personable, and wine enthusiast bartenders for the re-opening of this establishment!
La Betty is a warm and inviting listening bar where wine, music, and food come together to create an unforgettable experience. With a rotating selection of natural wines, thoughtfully curated music, and globally inspired small plates, we aim to spark curiosity and connection. It’s a place to relax, explore new flavors and sounds, and feel at home.
We are seeking bartenders who are knowledgeable about wine and excited to expand their knowledge, as well as being personable, warm, and engaging. Bonus if you have an interest in music as we will have a robust music program featuring vinyl records and rotating djs.
Start date: March 16th for training and March 19th for opening date.
Starting schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Friday-Saturday. We are closed Sunday-Tuesday.
Located within walking distance from the Red and Blue/Green line and free parking available.
Qualified candidates should have:
- Bartending experience, preferably in a fast paced restaurant or bar.
- Passion and knowledge for wine.
- Strong front of house experience - ability and passion to connect with guests and create long lasting relationships.
- Extreme attention to detail, cleanliness, and exceptional work ethic.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excited to learn, teach and grow.
- High competency in high volume service flow and floor management.
