Ellie Bird is a chef-driven, upscale casual concept from Michelin-starred team behind Rooster & Owl. This Beautiful and newly constructed space in the heart of Falls Church will offer dinner Tuesdays through Sundays, followed by weekend brunch coming in early summer.
Compensation is hourly and based on position and experience. We offer accrued Paid Time Off, Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, and parental leave. We are closed on major holidays and offer a fun and supportive learning environment with great work culture.

We opened our first restaurant, Rooster & Owl, in 2019; just over a year later, the pandemic changed everything. We had to reimagine our cuisine and our service for a new normal. From this pivot emerged the beginnings of what would become Ellie Bird: a contemporary, casual, chef-driven restaurant.
That year, we also welcomed a new member to our family: Ellie joined us in late 2020. Her kind, patient personality inspired us to name this new concept in her honor, a tribute to how Ellie Bird will be like the “little sister” of our seminal restaurant, Rooster & Owl. Plus, we love a good bird pun.
