Job Details
Raon is a NEW fine dining restaurant that aims to showcase innovative Korean cuisine. We are putting together a new team with opening in March 4th 2025. We are looking for a Line Cook to join our team at our newly opening restaurant, led by Chef Soogil Lim. Raon is an intimate fine dining establishment with only 14 seats at the chef's table, offering a chef's tasting menu. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef who is ready to grow with the Raon team.


[Responsibility]

Prepare products according to recipe guidelines and production orders.
Ensure all necessary items are stocked at the beginning of each shift and communicate any ingredient needs promptly.
Report any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain and clean kitchen equipment as required.
Clean work station and equipment thoroughly at the end of each shift.
Be prepared to assist fellow staff members as needed.
Maintain facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness standards through employee training and fostering a positive work environment.


[Requirements]

Safety Certificate for Food Handlers Preferred
Proficiency in reading, speaking, and interpreting written English.
Must have clear communication skills with management, staff in the kitchen, and dining area.
Need to regularly lift up to thirty pounds and reach, bend, and stoop.
Must be able to work for extended periods of time (up to ten hours) standing up.
Have the right to work in the US at this time.
While not necessary, having a Michelin star is preferable.
Use all required tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Walk and stand the whole shift, being sure to move around the restaurant in a safe manner.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $20.00) plus tips
