Bartender – The Duck & The Peach & Wells Gin Bar - Capitol Hill

At The Duck & The Peach and Wells Gin Bar, we create delicious experiences through thoughtful hospitality. Our unique, connected layout allows for a seamless blend of elevated New American dining and a craft-driven cocktail bar. We’re looking for experienced bartenders who are passionate about hospitality, craft cocktails, and exceptional service.
What We’re Looking For:Our bartenders are hospitality professionals who bring creativity, precision, and a guest-first mindset to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Craft cocktail experience, with a focus on classic and innovative drinks.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail techniques.
- The ability to multi-task between a restaurant and bar setting.
- A guest-first approach, ensuring each interaction is welcoming and engaging.
- Experience in a high-volume, service-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A polished, professional demeanor with attention to detail.
- Prepare craft and classic cocktails with consistency and precision.
- Guide guests through our wine, spirit, and cocktail programs.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized bar, ensuring smooth service between both locations.
- Collaborate with the team to create a warm, engaging atmosphere.
- Work across both The Duck & The Peach and Wells Gin Bar, adapting to the unique service style of each space.
At The Duck & The Peach and Wells Gin Bar, we value our team and offer:
- $21/hour base pay plus 8% commission on bar sales.
- An additional 5% commission on all house alcohol sales.
- Dining discounts at all Eastern Point Collective venues.
- A supportive, fun, and professional work environment.
- Opportunities for career growth and professional development.
- Candidates must be available for at least 3 shifts per week, including 2 dinner shifts and 1 brunch shift.
- We are open Tuesday through Sunday, and flexibility across both locations is required.
