General Manager - Pie Room by Curtis Stone
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Pie Room by Curtis Stone. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving sales. You will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Manage, lead, and motivate the team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing superior service and addressing any issues or complaints.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies, tracking stock, and minimizing waste.
• Maintain store appearance and uphold cleanliness and organizational standards.
• Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure product availability and presentation are in line with store standards.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control, ensuring the store meets financial goals.
• Handle administrative tasks, including cash management, staff payroll, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a general manager, assistant manager, or in a supervisory role, preferably in a bakery, café, or retail environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, sales, and financial performance metrics.
• Proficient in using POS systems and basic office software.
• Proficient in using Toast and Doordash.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with flexible hours.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting inventory up to 30 lbs.
