Job Description: We are looking for an energetic and friendly Bartender to join our team. As a Rooftop Bar Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an unforgettable time. Your role will also include maintaining a clean and organized bar area, handling cash and POS transactions, and staying current on our drink menu offerings. No job is beneath anyone on our staff or ownership, we are very team oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve beverages with a focus on high-quality, craft cocktails.
- Provide outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly environment for guests.
- Monitor guests’ needs and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage the bar area by keeping it clean, stocked, and organized.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Process payments using the POS system (Toast) and handle cash accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient operations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and drink preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and provide exceptional service.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- TIPS or similar alcohol certification required.
