IRE is looking for a part-time Server Assistant to join our team! The Server Assistant is an important part of our team, assisting Front of House staff to ensure a smooth running service. This is a part-time position, paid hourly, and candidates must be available to work on Friday and Saturday.
FIRE: A bold tasting menu experience pushing fire and its transformative power in cooking. In creating this concept, Chef Achatz magnifies open fire cooking techniques including ember cooking, ash-salt crusting, Patagonia-style asado crosses, and bringing back the iron presses. He explored all temperatures from top to bottom.
Responsibilities- Sets up dining room before service, including seating and bar areas, side stations, and patio
- Maintains complete knowledge of all menus, including ingredients and techniques used
- Runs all food and drinks to the dining room
- Maintains complete knowledge of table and seat numbers
- Greets and acknowledges all guests, providing a positive dining experience
- Anticipates guest needs and responds promptly
- Communicates guest special requests to appropriate personnel for follow up
- Completes closing duties as assigned
- 1 or more years of experience as a busser, food runner, server assistant, or related position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to carry a tray with food and/or drinks
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Thinks clearly, quickly, and maintains concentration during high pressure situations
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Must be able to move, pull, or lift at least 35 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
- Competitive hourly wage at $19.00 - $19.50/hour
