Bartender/Server Responsibilities – Mari Vanna NYC

• Exceptional Guest Service: Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests seated at the bar and in the dining area. Offer recommendations on food and drink pairings, answer menu questions, and create a welcoming atmosphere reflective of hospitality.

• Knowledge of Eastern European Cuisine & Beverages: Demonstrate a strong understanding of vodkas, infused spirits, wines, and traditional drinks, as well as our authentic Eastern European dishes. Confidently recommend pairings based on guests’ preferences.

• Maintain Bar Cleanliness & Organization: Ensure the bar area is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked at all times. Properly clean and sanitize glassware, tools, and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.

• Upsell & Enhance Guest Experience: Promote house-infused vodkas, signature cocktails, and traditional Eastern European delicacies in an engaging manner to enhance the dining experience and contribute to sales goals.

• Process Payments Accurately: Handle transactions efficiently, including cash and credit card payments. Ensure all sales and gratuities are recorded correctly.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth service, timely food and drink preparation, and an excellent overall guest experience.

• Professional Presentation: Maintain a polished, professional appearance in accordance with Mari Vanna’s dress code, ensuring a warm and elegant ambiance.

• Stock & Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and bar essentials. Support ordering and restocking as needed.
