Lunch: Tuesday - Friday - 11am - 2:30pm
OR
Dinner: Tuesday - Saturday - 430pm - 9pm 
Hourly Rate: $21/hr

Hinoki & the Bird, in Century City, is now accepting applications for a qualified Host. Inspired by travels all across the globe, our menu is best described as modern California cuisine with strong influences from the Silk Road. We offer innovative dishes featuring only the freshest of ingredients. We are looking for a dynamic host to join our exciting dinner team! Listed by the Hollywood Reporter, LA Times, and Eater LA as one of the best power spots in the city, Hinoki & the Bird is buzzing with activity. 

Job Summary:
The host role is to act as the first impression to our diners. We’re searching for someone who is warm, welcoming, and very guest oriented.

Required Experience:
• Minimum 1 year upscale host experience
• Previous experience using the Resy reservation system a plus
• Must have excellent knowledge of fine dining room and service procedures and functions
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays

• Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding guest services skills
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal & written)
• Professional presentation and positive attitude

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
•Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
•Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
•Ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
