Location: The Woo Woo at 266 W 47th Street, New York, NY 10036 (beneath The Mean Fiddler) 
Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour
Schedule: 20-30 hours per week, based on availability
Availability: Must be available for mid-week night shifts

The Woo Woo is a lively speakeasy bar and restaurant located in the heart of New York City’s Theater District. Just steps away from some of Broadway’s most iconic theaters, we serve a diverse crowd of locals, tourists, and theatergoers looking for great food, drinks, and entertainment.

The Role:
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and highly organized Host to join our team! As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently
• Coordinate seating and flow of service in collaboration with the front-of-house team
• Communicate wait times and accommodate guest requests when possible
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
• Provide information about our menu, specials, and events
• Assist with additional front-of-house tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• NYC hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• A friendly, engaging personality with excellent customer service skills
• Availability for mid-week nights is required
• A background in musical theater is a plus! We love performers who bring personality and energy to our team.
