Nestled in the heart of NOMAD, The Ivory Peacock is a cocktail-driven bar and restaurant with small plates that are Japanese & French inspired. 

The Ivory Peacock's heart is a beautiful raw bar program housed in its central horseshoe-shaped Emerald Oyster Bar that features an extensive, premium handcrafted cocktail program including the largest collection of gin in the United States that pairs perfectly alongside a seafood-driven menu of small plates, plateaus and shareable plates.

The Ivory Peacock is looking for Servers to work alongside the management team to welcome, entertain, oversee the experience, and process the orders for our guests. 

As a Server, you are a key part of the guest experience. Your style, attitude, energy, efficiency, and manners all improve our client’s time with us. It is important that you study and understand the details of your role to provide the exceptional service our guests expect. 

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Study and learn all of The Ivory Peacock support staff service standards
• Participate in all of the company training requirements
• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
• Fulfilling guest service needs (water, marking silverware, clearing tables, etc.)
• Explaining key information about The Ivory Peacock to guests when appropriate
• Anticipate all guest needs while they are in the restaurant
• Complete all assigned side work duties for the shift

 Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a server in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and execute The Ivory Peacock steps of service

 Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion, movement and navigation throughout a bilevel venue
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements, raw foods, and/or cleaning materials.
• Must be able to remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays
