A popular Japanese restaurant in East Village of New York City recently opened its new concept in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are seeking a part-time hosts to join our team. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and friendly individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

*Managing the restaurant's reservation system (Resy)
*Greeting and seating guests
*Answering questions in person or via phone for incoming patrons
*Assisting with table maintenance during service
*Maintaining a clean and organized dining area
*Providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items

Qualifications:

*Prior experience as a host, server or runner in a restaurant or hospitality setting
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic
*Knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine is a plus

Schedule:
Weekday and weekend dinners.

The Residence of Mr. Moto is more than a restaurant—it is an invitation into the gourmand’s home, designed to chronicle the tales of his travels. Guests enter through a subtle front door reminiscent of a late-1800s residence.

In the entryway, they are surrounded by a gallery wall featuring artifacts and antiques collected from Mr. Moto’s various explorations, along with genuine antique pieces from Japan and other travels. The dining areas are adorned with personal mementos, including portraits and display cases featuring Mr. Moto’s favorite outfits and accessories, evoking the intimacy of a lived-in space. For a touch of nostalgia, butler bells are placed between tables, allowing guests to summon attendants for a signature ochazuke pour when ready, creating an interactive touch.
