Lore, established and run by chef Jay Kumar, is seeking passionate servers to join our team!

We are looking for a service team member to support the front-of-house and provide thoughtful service. 

All candidates must have previous NYC restaurant experience, great social skills, and be organized, detail-oriented and kind. This person should have a command of service, wine, spirits, and food knowledge in tandem with understanding how to manage a section consistently with tact and grace. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and has basic knowledge and sincere appreciation in food, beverage, and service. 

 The position is full-time and/or part-time  which requires evening and weekend availability. REQUIRED:

4. Ability to multi-task a myriad of floor responsibilities - including table marking, proper wine glass placement & general table maintenance
5. Ability to speak confidently about the menu items and to offer guidance in the ordering of food and beverage

8. Ability to properly represent the restaurant’s vision and philosophy
9. Open Availability required

DESIRED:    
          - Understanding of wine styles, grape varieties and vinification methods
          - Minimum 2 year experience in a NYC or metropolitan restaurants

          - Knowledge of  Resy and lightspeed
