Job Details
Stellina Pizzeria is looking for a Front of House Manager to oversee Operations at our Union Market location. We are looking for energetic people who are enthusiastic about Italian food, customer service, and working in restaurants! One year of management experience is preferable, but we also love to grow and develop our team, so we'd love to speak to you if you are interested in this position. 

Operations is the primary aspect of this role, as responsibilities include opening/closing duties, hiring, training, scheduling, assisting with inventory, and managing the staff during service. You will also help the Director of Operations with day-to-day operations and training new staff to maintain a high level of hospitality in our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of the front of house employees on a daily basis, ensuring policies and processes are being followed and inspecting operational flow on a continuous basis;
  • Responsible for overseeing the floor during service; ensuring the team stays on task and delegating assignments as needed;
  • Communicate with chef team and BOH on keeping menus up to date and 86'd items throughout service if necessary;
  • Ensure guest satisfaction; interacting with guests and engaging in service recovery when issues arise;
  • Interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees;
  • Proactiveness in reaching our Company goals in sales, service, appearance; while creating a positive, fun and productive working environment;
  • Ensure compliance with department of health standards, maintaining superior cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant;
  • Identify potential safety hazards and initiate corrective action; ensuring the restaurant is safe for both employees and guests.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus!

This position requires the ability to obtain an ABRA License.
