We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join a well-known, nationwide Mediterranean-inspired restaurant group. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with at least two years of experience to step into a leadership role in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and is committed to delivering exceptional dishes while fostering a strong kitchen team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and overall food preparation.
  2. Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards.
  3. Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  4. Oversee inventory, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  6. Assist in menu development, including creating and testing new Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
  7. Monitor food costs and portion control to maintain profitability.
  8. Lead by example, ensuring efficiency and professionalism during service.
  9. Handle kitchen issues as they arise, including staff concerns and operational challenges.
  10. Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $95,000.00)
