Confidant Hospitality is now hiring passionate and hardworking Chef de Parties for Confidant, a two-way concept, blending elements of traditional NYC with its new modern-day flare, is the homage and innovation that Brooklyn has been waiting for and deserves. Confidant Luncheonette is inspired by New York City’s vibrant diner and deli culture, bringing a fine-dining level of attention to detail and inventiveness to midday fare in a bright and bustling, yet laid-back environment. For dinner, Confidant will transform into a place of comfort and luxury. Showcasing a seasonal a la carte menu and chef table experience that will spotlight the ingenuity and creativity of the Confidant team. Confidant & its Luncheonette are committed to matching the vibrant innovation and excitement of Industry City and its historic roots through a high level execution, and an intentional, relentlessly evolving menu.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize all mise en place for your station to ensure seamless service.
- Manage your station during service, delivering high-quality ingredients and components in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to both NYC DOH regulations and our own high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge and application of NYC DOH sanitation standards.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to follow directions and work collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for 8-10 hours a day, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
*Must have or be willing to obtain food certification.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $24.00)
