A beloved favorite, Pastis NYC located in the heart of the Meatpacking District serves traditional French fare with a newly invigorated soul. The restaurant’s classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors, mosaic-tiled floor, and gold-tinged lighting evokes nostalgia. Offering breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner – guests can enjoy gathering at Pastis NYC any time of day or visit us at Pastis Miami, Washington D.C., and soon in Nashville and West Palm Beach.

Now seeking a Lead Pastry Cook who is a natural leader and experienced in pastry and dessert production. If you are driven by a commitment to continuous learning and passionate about French pastry arts, we invite you to apply!

This Full-time position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • An hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of pastry experience in a notable kitchen/restaurant preferred
  • Passion for French cuisine, classic techniques, and impeccable execution
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining the quality standards of the restaurant
  • The ability to work a full-time schedule including weekends

Pastis features elements similar to the original such as the restaurant’s classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor. Guests can find the classic bistro fare Pastis was known for, with a menu that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch.

We are thrilled to share Pastis opened in the vibrant Wynwood Arts District of Miami in April '23 and we look forward to opening in Washington D.C., and Nashville soon!
