Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, and overall guest satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, handling administrative duties, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:

    • Train, develop & motivate hourly staff.
    • Schedule work shifts and assign duties.
    • Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Monitor and respond to online reviews and feedback.
  3. Operations Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
    • Analyze financial reports and develop strategies to improve performance.
    • Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the corporate Social Media team to market specials, new menu items & all things new at your concept. 
    • Communicate staffing needs to the corporate Talent Acquisiton team & attend weekly job fairs. 
  6. Compliance and Licensing:

    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Maintain proper licensing and permits.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: At least 2 (two) years of upscale dining management is required 
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software (Resy, Toast, Restaurant365)
    • Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

Working Conditions:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to be involved in hands-on tasks and work in all areas of the restaurant as needed.
