Job Details

La Grande Boucherie is looking for an experienced and passionate Beverage Manager who is responsible for leading all team members in running an efficient and profitable operation, assisting with developing the beverage menu, managing day-to-day bar operations, maintaining high bar standards and conditions, and fostering a positive environment.

Fine-dining experience at French restaurant strongly preferred.

Essential functions:

  • Ensures, and is accountable for, the profitability of the store by growing sales and controlling the cost of goods by maintaining and utilizing daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting tools
  • Oversee ordering, GL management, and/or inventory for certain supply categories
  • Oversees all cash management functions; Maintains proper loss prevention standards, including reviewing cash handling procedures, deposits, and safe procedures
  • Manages bar employees in their daily responsibilities, providing clear, effective direction
  • Identifies staffing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training needs of qualified candidates; Facilitates on-going training and development of current staff; Coach and counsel team members for improved performance, documenting developmental plans as necessary, with the General Managers approval
  • Conduct DOH walk-throughs multiple times per day when on duty to ensure DOH compliance; Address all DOH violations immediately
