Role: Chef de Cuisine
Organization: Upscale Fine Dining Operations (Confidential)
Compensation: 80K - 110K plus PTO and leading benefits
Timeline: Immediate

We are searching for a CDC experience to lead the team of a dynamic, cutting edge restaurant in Washington, DC. This individual must have excellent culinary skills and experience in high caliber restaurants. They must also be a progressive leader who is able to motivate and mentor a team with empathy, enthusiasm and grace. Creativity for regular menu changes is a must. This individual must also be capable of managing and controlling all costs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years of BOH management experience 
  • Guest centric philosophy and genuine desire to make people happy
  • Strong leadership and coaching experience
  • Must be highly organized and meticulous
  • Must be highly proficient with food costing, P&L, budgets and building forecasts
  • Good at building SOPs/manuals
  • Exceptional cooking abilities; execution at high level
  • Must possess a positive attitude with the ability to be a strong mentor for staff
  • Experience managing staff of 20+ employees
