Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bar Prep to support our bar team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the beverage program by preparing high-quality ingredients and maintaining the bar’s mise en place. The ideal candidate has a passion for fresh ingredients, precision, and working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ingredient Preparation:
• Prepare and stock fresh juices, syrups, garnishes, and infusions daily according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all prepared ingredients meet quality, freshness, and consistency standards.
• Follow all health and safety standards, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
• Organization and Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, bar storage, and refrigeration units.
• Ensure mise en place is ready for service, restocking as necessary during shifts.
• Monitor inventory of bar preparation supplies and ingredients, notifying the manager of low stock or ordering needs.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with bartenders and bar managers to support the execution of the cocktail menu.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and new techniques.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Dexterity for handling knives, juicers, and other preparation tools.
