The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club is on the hunt for a personable, experienced, and detail-oriented Manager to help lead our team.
From nurturing our incredible shuffleboard league, to running large corporate events, to hosting a bevy of birthday parties on the weekends, this job demands an extrovert who loves people and exhibits high emotional intelligence and wide-ranging interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable on the floor, behind the bar, resolving conflicts and leading a staff of charming and motivated individuals.
Our ideal candidate is engaged by the challenge and nuance in balancing the interests of the guests, the staff and the organization as a whole.
Hospitality-specific management experience is a must
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly Liquor Inventory, Ordering & Cost Analysis
- Managing the bar team
- Updating POS systems
- Ensuring customer service and satisfaction
- Utilizing leadership skills, ability to train and motivate employees to ensure excellent service while maintaining cost controls
- Inspecting establishment and observing workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards
- Ensuring paperwork accuracy and has very proficient computer skills
- Managing all DOH standards and permits
- Managing ice machines, gas, refrigeration and all supply maintenance
