Celebrating 21 years of award-winning service, located just east of Union Square. Our Spanish seasonal menu is based on sustainable seafood, a whole animal butchery program, and produce from Union Square Greenmarket.
Our wine list consists of nearly 600 wines, representing a thoughtful and thorough selection of Spain’s rapidly expanding world of wine.
We are looking for a candidate who takes a 'hands-on' approach to management and is willing to lead by example and with empathy. You will work to support our staff to successfully provide guests with a service that is warm, knowledgeable & appreciative. In addition to being present on the floor during service, your job duties will include events, and administrative tasks such as composing daily reports, cash handling, ordering & closing the restaurant.
They will positively lead and inspire the service team, contributing to a collaborative work environment and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for wine and understanding of Spanish wine varietals and regions
- Efficient in OpenTable and Toast POS Systems
- Must have 2 years experience in an NYC restaurant as a Manager
- Food Handlers certification preferred
- Have a warm, positive, and noticeably appreciative demeanor toward guests and colleagues
- Be able to effectively communicate, give and take constructive criticism, and productively lead a team
- Must be able to easily adapt and improvise.
- Must have a strong focus, heightened attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry
