Casa Cruz New York, is located in a six-story beaux arts townhouse on 61st Street, between Park and Madison Avenue. Casa Cruz New York has 220 seats across five floors and is open for dinner and drinks. We are focused on the design, development and operation of hospitality brands that, at their core, are about bringing people together. For us, great hospitality starts with our professional and dedicated Hosts.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and greeting guests; ensuring a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arranged dining tables
- Checking-in, storing, securing, and retrieving outerwear and assorted personal belongings for guests
- Speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and responding well to questions
- Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn
- Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
Skills & Requirements:
- Required to have open availability on weekends
- At least 1 year in a Host position in a upscale dining setting
- Personable, positive, and gracious attitude
- Knowledge of reservation systems
- Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Lift up to 25 pounds of weight
- Ability to reach, bend, climb up and down stairs, walk and carry multiple objects

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)

Designed by Juan Santa Cruz, it’s the perfect place for eating, drinking, socializing and have fun under one roof. Casa Cruz New York, with the highest level of personalized service and engaging atmosphere is set to be hottest opening in New York City this fall. The ground, second and third floors will operate as a normal restaurant open to the public with priority to the partners, while the drawing room on the fourth floor, the private dining rooms on the fifth floor, and the rooftop terrace will be for exclusive use of our partners and their friends and families. Casa Cruz New York has 220 seats across the five floors and will be open from 12pm-1am for lunch, dinner and after dinner drinks.
